Mapei Mapegum WPS is suitable for:

• Waterproofing walls and floors in bathrooms and shower areas before the installation of ceramic, mosaic, or natural stone tiles
• Waterproofing walls, floors, and countertops in kitchens
• Application on gypsum board, gypsum plaster, cement plaster, aerated concrete blocks, bonded wood, cement screeds, anhydrite, wooden, and magnesite substrates
• Application over existing ceramic and natural stone surfaces after pre-treatment with Eco Prim T Plus

Instructions for Use

1. Ensure the substrate is dry, clean, and free from oil, grease, paint residues, and other loose materials.
2. For absorbent substrates such as gypsum and cement, apply a suitable primer first, such as Mapei Primer G.
3. Apply Mapegum WPS with a roller or brush in multiple coats, ensuring that each new layer is applied perpendicularly to the previous one once it has dried (1-2 hours drying time per layer).
4. Build up layers to a minimum thickness of 0.8 mm for a consistent and elastic waterproofing membrane.
