Enhances the Elasticity of Cement-Based Adhesives

Isolastic is a latex additive that improves the flexibility of cement-based adhesives. This liquid compound, composed of an elastic polymer in an aqueous dispersion, is mixed with adhesive products such as Kerabond, Kerabond T, Kerabond Plus, or Adesilex P10. Once the mixture hardens, Isolastic enhances the adhesion, deformability, and impermeability of the adhesive on various surfaces. This makes it ideal for bonding ceramic tiles, natural stone, and mosaics. The product is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Applications

Mapei Isolastic is suitable for:

• Bonding almost all types of ceramic tiles, including double-fired, single-fired, and porcelain tiles
• Bonding dimensionally stable natural stone for both indoor and outdoor use
• Application on underfloor heating systems
• Fixing ceramic tiles and natural stone outdoors, including swimming pools, balconies, and terraces
